Mi-2 Update

#211 on the left, is back on the gear with the internal fuel tank reinstalled. After a thorough cleaning of the engine compartment and engine runup to test the fuel system re-installation, new main and tail rotor blades will be installed. #214 on the right, shown during an engine conservation run today, will be the next Mi-2 to be repaired. Engine conservation helps preserve the engines prior to idle periods of storage or repair. The yellow tanks on 214 are external fuel tanks that extended the range of the helicopter.

Bruce and Tracie are shown during the engine conservation run going through the pre-start checklist and monitoring engine start.
