After a thorough cleaning of the engine compartment and engine runup to test the fuel system re-installation, new main and tail rotor blades will be installed. #214 on the right, shown during an engine conservation run today, will be the next Mi-2 to be repaired. Engine conservation helps preserve the engines prior to idle periods of storage or repair. The yellow tanks on 214 are external fuel tanks that extended the range of the helicopter.
